This painting was inspired by a moment in Iceland when I stood before a rushing river in complete awe — overwhelmed by the strength and beauty of God’s creation.

When I finished painting it, I sat in quiet gratitude that the Lord would allow me to translate even a glimpse of His majesty onto canvas.

Like the Israelites who stood in awe on the far side of the Red Sea, this piece is a celebration of reverence — a reminder to pause, to worship, and to stand in wonder of the One who still parts seas today.
